summary of taning macho ways

     In the article “Taming Macho Ways”, Elvia Alvarado describes campesinas work all day and never sit still one minute, but they could not do some physical things as well as men. Campesinos usually don’t do housework after they come home. However, men who live in city, they would help their wives to coke. This is not exist in campesinos house. She thinks it is unfair for women do all the work. In some campesina families, men don’t  support their families, and they beat their wives sometimes since they drink too much. Neighbors don’t come over to stop fighting unless it is very serious, and women rarely tell what happened because they feel embarrassed. Even though the government knew this, they still don’t want to stop it because it is an important source of income. When men have a goal, they will work hard. The same as author, she used to gossip and criticize  other women, and flirt with married men. She believes that people can change, and we have to change the bad habits of the past.

One day in the evening after work, my friends and I decided to go to an Italian restaurant, we headed to the nearest restaurant. When we got to the restaurant, asked for a table for three, the waiter greeted us kindly and he gave us the menu to order the food and the waiter recommended us the specialty of the house but we decided to order the food from the menu. I said to my friend Jason "why don't you try the spaghetti portofino?" and Jason said "ok, i want to try this", also i asked to my friend Susan "what would you like to eat?" and i told her, "do you want to try the chicken parmesan?" but i didn't know that Susan was vegetarian and Susan said, "i just want to eat a salad" she looked at the menu and decided to order the spinach salad, and i decided to order the chicken picatta. The waiter took the orders and while we were waiting for our food other people came into the restaurant including a couple, they sat next to our table and also ordered their food.

       After a moment we got our food and we started eating, Jason said "this food is delicious", Susan also liked her salad and said "mmm this is delicious too". I also liked my food and i said to them, "we made a good decision to come to this place”. While we were eating Susan said, "Look at the couple next to us" when i looked at them, the waiter was having an argument with the couple Jason said "i think is about the food" because the couple were really angry with the waiter and everyone were watching the couple. Susan got scared and said "we better go to somewhere else" Jason also said "yeah, we better finish eating then go to somewhere else". i had no choice and we finished eating then we pay the food and later on we left the restaurant, Susan said to us, "you guys think that the problem between the couple and the waiter was solved?", Jason said, "i don't know but i hope the problem is solved", i also said "yeah, i hope the problem is solved because the waiter is a good person". We continue walking and we decided to go to somewhere else.
